Dear Reader,
Welcome to the Region-at-Large (RAL) blog! This will be a space for the entire RAL community, across the United States and internationally, to connect. Students, educators, parents/guardians, jurors, and Alumni are invited to engage with each other, and keep up with the latest Awards news.

What can I expect from the RAL blog?
Content on the RAL blog is catered specifically to the RAL community. Throughout the summer, you will learn about National Medalists from RAL regions, virtually meet Awards Alumni, and see what RAL students are creating this summer. Students will have the chance to share their most recent work through our Summer Challenges, and a few lucky students will even win a gift card.
During the Awards season, you will hear from our RAL Adjudication Partners and past jurors. Get to know the people who will be reading, viewing, interpreting, and appreciating your work. Keep an eye out for tips from past jurors to learn more about what jurors are looking for in a standout submission.
