Earlier this month, we highlighted a selection of award-winning art and writing portfolios. This week, we’re celebrating our amazing Silver Key and Honorable Mention winners!

This year, the Scholastic Awards received nearly 230,000 entries nationally. In the Region-at-Large program, only 8% of all works entered received Silver Keys, and only 12% of all works entered received Honorable Mentions. Receiving a Silver Key or Honorable Mention is a huge achievement, and we are thrilled to be able to recognize the incredible creativity and talent behind these works. Below are just some of the visionary works that inspired us.

While we will not be able to feature all RAL Silver Key and Honorable Mention works in this post, you can check out the full list of award-winning pieces by visiting your regional webpage.

Congratulations again to all RAL award recipients and everyone who entered the 2021 Awards! Stay tuned for our next post in March where we’ll be celebrating RAL Gold Key winners. Also, be sure to join us on March 4 at 7:00 pm ET to stream the 2021 Scholastic Awards Regional Key Celebration live, where we are celebrating all regional award winners, including Honorable Mention, Silver Key, and Gold Key winners, for the first time in a virtual celebration!
